Research Assistant

Multimodeal Medical Imaging Optimization Lab at NTU

Who am I?

I am Chan-Min Hsu, a research assistant at Multimodal Medical Imaging Optimization Lab, where I work with Prof. Kevin T. Chen.

My research interest focus on the deep learning technique for computer vision. Particularly, I aim to improve the segmentation performance on biomedical images and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in several ways.

Previously, I received a M.S. degree in BEBI and a B.S. degree in EE after graduating from National Taiwan University (NTU). My master thesis is Mitochondrial Structure Prediction in Label-free Microscopy Images Using Convolutional Neural Networks, advised by Prof. An-Chi Wei. I also collaborated with Prof. Megan Y.P. HO at Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) as a visiting research student, and with Dr. Yu Tsao at Academia Sinica as an intern.

I received the NTU Presidential Award for top 5% in Fall'17, Government Special Education Scholarship in Fall'16 - Spring'17, Fall'17 - Spring'18.
